We love the journey many of our riders and owners have taken with us from the very beginning. Read what some of our satisfied clients have said about us!
"Lindsey is one of the most giving and nicest people I have ever met. She is a wonderful teacher. I have learned so much in the last 2 years. They have been truly a great experience. She has a great since of humor and can always put a smile on your face. I look up to Lindsey in so many ways. My love for horses has grown so much stronger. I have grown so much in my riding, and I have also grown a lot spiritually. Lindsey is one of my best friends. I love coming to the barn and sharing stories with each other. I would definitely recommend Lindsey to anyone. She is one of my heroes."
Thank you Lindsey for everything you do for me. It means so much.
I love you!

"Thank you so much for taking Micah under your wing! You've kept her on her toes and demanded her to focus and rewarded her accomplishments. She learned to work hard and from horseback she felt on top of the world. I figure if Micah knows how to handle a 1200 lb horse she can handle a teenage guy:)" Your gift of unconditional friendship will go with Micah for years to come and she will always come back to ride with you.Susan Francen
"Lindsey is truly an inspirational person. Lindsey devotes her energy, enthusiasm and positive talents to what she loves; horses and kids!
My nine year old started lessons with Lindsey almost a year ago. Lindsey has kindled her love and respect for horses. My daughter has learned so much from Lindsey. Not only is she learning the fundamentals of riding, but she is learning how to care for and understand horses. Even I have learned a thing or too from watching her teach! Lindsey keeps her students motivated with a variety of activities such as her camps and trail rides. She has also given my daughter the opportunity to work around the farm to understand the labor that is really involved in horse ownership (which for Lindsey is a labor of love).
Lindsey is a wonderful instructor and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking a patient and caring riding instructor."-Melissa Huschke
I first met Sandman as yearling and liked him right away. He was already pretty tall and a beautiful chestnut gelding. About a year later I was able to bring him home. I thought our ground work was going along o.k. and was able to put a saddle on him and teach him the basics of lunge work with some help. But as he got closer to 3 yrs old, he started getting pushier and a little harder to control. My husband was really worried I was going to try to ride him first myself. But I realized that I was getting a bit overwhelmed and asked Lindsey if she would take him in for training.
She did a wonderful job with Sandman! I noticed changes almost right away, especially on the ground. Within a few weeks she was riding him and after 3 months I brought him home a changed horse, more mature and also more trusting. I’m working with him on the ground now with no fear and have a new understanding of how to respond to horse behavior that I learned from Lindsey. And riding him is wonderful – even my husband isn’t worried now.
And I think that’s the most important thing that having Sandman with Lindsey. She trains the horse, but she will also train the handler which is so very important!! As I watched her with Sand I found that her training of the horse is very patient and individualized, giving each different horse the time and the type of training that they need. She also tries to keep in mind what job the owner has for the horse so that she can get the horse started in the right direction.
I will and have recommended others to send their horses to Lindsey for training! She does a wonderful job.Cindi Coffroth

Lindsey is one of the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Her 6 week stay here at WildeWood Farm was a delight; we only wished she lived closer. Her honesty, willingness to pitch in, and 'down home' thoughtfulness make her a rare treasure indeed. Her skills with horses are exceptional and her drive to learn is awe inspiring. If she doesn't know how to fix a problem, she'll search out the problem until she solves it.
Lindsey is a person of her word, if she tells you something, you can count on it being done. She's a go getter and if you hang around her for even a short time you'll see why we all love her. You, your children, and your horses will all benefit from being around this exceptional
woman."-Hannah Campbell, a dear friend of Lindsey's and a wonderful horsewoman
"I would like to share my experience that I have had with Lindsey to all concerned or interested.
My seven yr old girl had been taking riding lessons with a different riding instructor and it just seemed like I was traveling a good distance after work only to watch my daughter do the same thing over and over. So low and behold we found out about Lindsey and she was able to fit us into her schedule and each lesson became interesting and encouraging for both
me, and my little rider. My daughter would look so forward to lesson time, lesson time went from "do I have to" to "Mom remember lessons this week". Lindsey is a very creative instructor and has an insight of when to change something to make it more challenging or interesting for the rider and for the horse. I highly recommend her as a riding instructor for both beginner riders or even more advanced.
Then from there I saw how she worked with the horses, learning to understand each one and when I found myself an owner of a 2 yr old gelding that was broke but not broke enough for myself, I asked her to ride him for me and figure him out for a two week period. She took this young, energetic horse and was able to get to know and understand him and explain to me how he was broke and what his thinking patterns were. She rode with so much ease and knew exactly what he was thinking or needed. She predicted his patterns and was right in line with her assessment of him. After the time period was over I left feeling that I made the best choice in having Lindsey ride and assess him for me and finish his training. She has a natural touch and understanding for the horse and for the rider. She helped me understand the horse and to figure out if he was what I needed or wanted. Every time I watched her work with him I could see how he trusted and understood her, and that is what we all try to achieve in our horsemanship. Thank you Lindsey."-Pam Brockman
Hey Lindsey,
Just a quick note to let you know we are all doing great!! Tilly and Solomon are doing so wonderful and we are so excited! We rode them bareback in the round pen and then out around the barn Saturday and then today I rode Solomon, Presley rode Tilly and Sydney rode Sunny and we got them straight from the pasture, saddled them at the gate and got right on them and went through a huge open pasture, up hill, to the woods and rode through the trails (up and down pretty steep, rocky hills) for over an hour! The man we are boarding with led the way, and Solomon did super, Tilly did even better, and Sunny did OK- Syd had to end up getting off of her at the end because his 5 loose horses ran up to us when we got back at the pasture and she got a little nervous. Tilly kicked (with both hind feet) at one of his horses but Pres handled it well and Solomon got a little excited, but we turned them in small circles and bent their necks around like you showed us and they calmed down enough to walk to the gate. Very fun!! I can’t believe he didn’t spook at all- they handled the rocky, muddy terrain so great and didn’t mind anything- except they didn’t want to go through a small water area, they walked through water but as little as
possible. They moved off our legs good which was helpful in several tight areas…so thank you, thank you, thank you again!
I think they actually enjoy riding, everyday they still run up to us at the gate and after we are done and turn them loose, they just stand there like they want more! We have also been working on neck reining and they are doing better than Sunny…they picked it up very fast! Yeah!!
Have a great week and I’ll keep in touch.
Take care,a
